Episode #503; Places, Voices and Redemption In the fall arts edition, in Focus looks at some the most exciting art events in our state this year. In Focus visits SITE Santa Fe where maverick art critic Dave Hickey has created an internationally acclaimed survey of contemporary art called, Beau Monde: Toward a Redeemed Cosmopolitanism, the fourth annual SITE Santa Fe Biennial. Then the exhibition Carr, O’Keeffe, Kahlo: Places of Their Own, at the New Mexico Museum of Arts in Santa Fe (New Mexico), explores the mythologies these artists created in their efforts to capture what if felt like to be a woman living in the 20th century. Finally, the voice of Luciano Pavarotti is unparalleled in the world of opera and in Focus will present an interview with the maestro recorded during his recent visit to New Mexico.
