The Birmingham Museum of Art's exhibit on art by 19th century Alabamians focuses on frontier alabama. The piece features the art in the exhibit as well as the stories of the art and the history the art tells about Alabama. It highlights many artists and creators including Fredrick Cooper and Marianne Thomas. A series that focuses on bringing to life the inspiring stores and empowering characters that have helped form Alabama's past and are working to shape its future.
