Historical Documentary Series Artists in the Southwest documented the American West as it once existed. The Taos Society of Artists was started and the Pueblo Native American culture was captured by their work. Artists like Thomas Hart Benton, Alexandre Hogue, and John Steuart Curry painted the tragedy of the Dust Bowl. The resulting the plight of the migrant worker was also told in film and photography. Documents the American West as seen through the eyes of artists photographers and filmmakers.
