The backstory of how "Swank In The Arts" was created. A seris of films produced by Kera on different aspects of the visual arts in North Texas was funded by a grant from the Meadows Foundation with Patsy Swank as producer. Bison, A film by Mark Birnbaum and Steve Howard about the Amon Carter Museum's exhibition which was commissioned by the Amon itself. Also a film about a painting by Julian Onderdonk sent to the Kimbell Art Museum. The conservation of the painting is detailed over a period of months. “Swank in the Arts” was KERA’s weekly in-depth arts television program.
