Swank in The Arts; Wise Collection - DMFA; Isamu Noguchi

Sculptor, Isamu Noguchi came to Dallas as part of the Meadows Awards for Excellence in the Arts. Mr. Noguchi supervised the installation of his sculpture, "The Spirit's Flight" in front of the Meadows Museum of at SMU. Mr. Noguchi is interviews by Patsy Swank. In the next story, Robert X. Rodriguez composed a special Paux de Deux which was created by Dallas Ballet Director George Skibine. The ballet is danced by Dallas Ballet Dancers Vicky Butler and Roger Whey. In another story Patsy talks about John Wise, collector of middle and South American art in the time before Columbus. The Dallas Museum of Art acquired his collection. “Swank in the Arts” was KERA’s weekly in-depth arts television program.
