Cast copper alloy circular mount, possibly a casket mount. The mount has a central circular setting, around which are four circular and four intervening settings. All the settings are filled with white enamel or paste. Each of the outer circular settings also has a single rectangular or square inlay of white, blue and red brown micro-mosaic. The intervening settings each have two such inlays. The central circular setting has an inlaid arrangement comprising one central square of blue and white micro-mosaic around which are alternating yellow and red, white and blue square inlays (four of each). Probably of Roman date.
