Incomplete copper alloy miniature shield. The shield is flat and undecorated, and probably was once oval or hexagonal with rounded sides.There are only two original sides of the shield remaining, which are slightly angled. Most of the shield is missing.Miniature shields are difficult to date although they are thought to range from circa 400BC to the mid-late 1st century AD.
