A probably Roman miniature lead object in the form of a hammer. It measures 35.85x(max)14.88x(max)7.59mm and weighs 18.05g.The central part of the body expands on both sides to a rounded point (max.width and 6.35mm thick) with a rectangular hole at the centre (6.70x3.65mm). The arms to either side are c.8mm wide and thicken to the bounded blunt terminals (max.thickness), one of which is 8.66mm wide the other 7.78mm wide. No original patina remains.Cf. SUR-EB17F7, which was almost certainly intended for votive purposes and has been designated a Finds of Note.
