A complete lead miniature axehead, triangular in shape measuring 21mm in length, 6.5mm in width, at its widest point, and 7.3mm thick. There is a circular perforation through the wider end of this axehead, it measures 2mm in diameter. Both faces of the axehead are decorated with four evenly spaced transverse grooves, inbetween the two central grooves there are two diagonal grooves which meet in a point, which points towards the wider end of the axe. This miniature axehead is likely to be Roman in date.
