Possible votive shovel, Roman in date.The shovel is sub-rectangular. The handle is circular is cross-section and is not set in the centre. There is decoration on the reverse where the handle meets the shovel in the form of a triangular raised section. The handle is broken.A miniature votive shovel has been recorded on the database as SUR-1AC0D5 although this is slightly different in form.
