Fragment of a copper alloy miniature socketed axehead. The object tapers from 4.5mm thickness where it is broken off to 1mm thickness. On one side at the wider end there is the remains of a small loop. The poorly cast object may have originally had a hollow centre as revealed by the damaged reverse.
