Warp and weft: fine white sewing thread (La Cadena #60).\The woven part has a narrow band in linen weave at the top and bottom of the fabric. The remaining portion is woven in three types of gauze fabric and variations thereof (see analysis IWJ-8). Various motifs are arranged in horizontal bands (in the same way as the canvases in sprang technique): diamonds, pattern of stylised leaves and berries, vines and zigzag line. The fabric has a lace border on four sides.\Fine woven - starched, ironed and soaked in bluewash.
