A pointed oval (vesica shaped) matrix, recorded from drawing. Matrix is perforated at the top; back unseen. Device is a cross, possibly a "calvary cross", i.e., with a step or steps at the base. Four rays occupy the angles between the arms, and a fine line separates the relaitively small device area from the lettering. A similar line may have originally deliniated the outer edge of the face, as part remains next to the SIC. Measurements: 24 mm x 37 mm
