A fragment of a rotary quernstone of possible Roman date (AD 43-409).This object has not been seen by the FLO.The finder comments that it is not an Island stone and may be Devonian Old Red Sandstone.The drawing has been provided by the finder.A surface find in ploughsoil.Awaiting delivery of quern for detailed recording and GPS location.
