Late Saxon buckle frame, worn and badly corroded, D-shaped with Borre-style animal-head on outside edge and traces of engraved segmented decoration on flat-sectioned sides, narrowed bar with offset at mid-point, pin missing. Length 19.5mm. Width 20mm. See other Norfolk examples from Little Fransham (NMS-9B0AC7 ) and Fulmodeston (NHER 17342, drawing in file). 10th-11th century.
