<I>Bouquet holder, floral motif with spoon handle</I>
ca.1830-1920
Gilded metal bouquet holder with looped handle. The small is pierced with chased floral and foliate designs. The spoon-handle of the bouquet holder was stamped in two parts and follows the curvaceous foliate form that his seen in the vase. It is made of a more substantial cast brass with looped ending with three notches that mimics leaves on a vine.
