The uniform is a double breasted, eight button full-length jacket with shoulder "saddle patch" appliqués; wide collar lapels; straight sleeves; double inset hip pockets on the right front panel; inset breast and hip pockets on proper left front panel; maroon piping around the collar; front closure edges and pockets; 1/2 inch wide ribbed maroon ribbon on outside panels of sleeves about the wrist buttons (two wrist buttons); lined with insulated, quilted liner and ribbed, knitted cuffs; USPOD patch is sewn to the upper left sleeve.
