This blown and molded square-shaped glass jar has a narrow neck and a flared lip. The baked white enamel label is framed in blue and red, which and is surrounded by a gold and brown escutcheon with a crown sitting at the top. The label is marked <i>MERCUR VIRID</i> in black text with the first initial of each word in red. This bottle would have held <i>Mercurius Viridis</i> or Green Mercury.
