Jacquard woven ribbon with abstract design on blue ground; design composed of a black oblong banner outlined in gold with interior design of blue blades joined by a red circle at the center; continuous border of gold teardrop shapes along edges. Fabricated in St. Etienne, France between 1850-1900. From the Merci Train or Graditude Train from France.
