A black dress with white floral embroidery and fringe. The dress is made of black synthetic and is embroidered with cream silk thread in flowers and foliage. The dress has a boat neckline with short cap sleeves, which are made with an eight and a quarter-inch long dart. A twelve and a half inch long metal zipper is sewn along the proper left side seam, which starts below the armscye and ends at hip level. A metal hook and eye are sewn above the zipper. Nineteen-inch-long white fringe made of synthetic yarn is sewn at the bottom of the dress below the knees. The top five and three quarters of the fringe is made of an open weave with a leaf design. Nine inch darts are sewn on the back of the dress which shape the cap sleeves. The dress is unlined and unlabeled. It is faced around the neckline with synthetic twill.
