A cabinet photograph of Mrs. Millie E. Hale by an unknown photographer. Hale is captured from the waist up and is looking forward and slightly to the left. She is wearing a dress with ruffled shoulders and a flower-piece on her proper left shoulder. In her hair is a hairpiece on her proper left side. Hale was co-founder of the Millie E. Hale Hospital in Nashville, TN in 1916. On the back, the sitter's name in pencil at the top center [Mrs Millie Gibson Hale].
