J. P. Ball & Son, American, 1845 - 1904 · 1898-1899
A black-and-white photograph of Norman Pulaski Tuck and his son Alric photographed at the Ball & Sons studio in Seattle, Washington. The photo is mounted on dark-colored pasteboard stamped with the Ball & Sons logo and store location on the bottom of the front side. Norman is seated to the left of Alric and wears a dark suit. His right knee is crossed over his left and he holds a small book against his left leg with his elbow resting on a table. Alric stands next to Norman and wears what appears to be a gray military style uniform and cap. His right hand is placed in the jacket resting between two buttons. There is an inscription in graphite on the back.
