This 1/6 plate ambrotype, made on ruby-red glass, depicts a man wearing a stiff collar and dark jacket. The ambrotype is housed in an embossed brown leather case with red textile lining and a decorative gold metal frame. The inside of the case bears writing in pencil: "B. H. Warren."
