A black-and-white photograph of Samuel Huston College's women's basketball team standing on the front steps of a building. Thirteen women stand in three rows, with an additional man and woman standing one step closer to the camera. Twelve of the thirteen girls wear wraps on their heads. They wear shirts or sweater with naval jumper flaps and dark skirts with tights and sneakers. The additional woman stands off to the side with her arms behind her back and does not wear sneakers like the others but rather dark dress shoes, though she wears a similar shirt with jumper flap. The man wears a shawl-collared sweater with an "SHC" logo on it with a collared shirt and tie, and he holds a basketball pinned between his forearm and waist. There are no marks or inscriptions on the back. The photograph is in a black cardboard frame and can be removed through the top right corner.
