Medieval coin; struck silver penny of Richard I or John, class 4a, dated to 1194 – c.1200. London mint, moneyer Willelm.Obv. Crowned head of king, facing, holding sceptre. Fairly crude portrait, five pellets in band of crown, at least 2 curls to either side of face, beard of pellets.[HEN]RICVS R/[EX]Rev. Voided short cross with four pellets in each quadrant.
