A complete cast copper alloy miniature horse harness terret, dating to the Late Iron Age or early Roman period (c. 700 BC-50 AD). The object is sub-circular in plan, with a slightly narrowed undecorated segment of the frame, probably to facilitate smooth running of a strap. Seven sequentially moulded cusped knops of similar size decorate the ring with two directly flanking the plain segment. Alternates between a circular or oval cross-section. The ring measures 17.21 mm long, 17.80 mm wide, 3.61 mm thick and weighs 3.21 grams.
