Medieval coin; Struck silver groat of Henry V, dated to 1413-1422. London mint. This is probably of class G, due to the obverse legend and lack of mullet on the right breast. Initial mark is a pierced cross. There is a quatrefoil after ‘POSVI’ in the reverse legend but not after ‘HENRIC’ in the obverse legend.Obv. Portrait of the king, facing, within a tressure of arches, fleurs on the points of each arch.‘HENRIC.DI.[GR]A.REX.ANGLIE.Z.FRANC’ with single saltire stopsRev. ‘Long cross fourchee which divides the legend.
