Medieval coin; Struck copper alloy coin with remains of silver wash, probably a contemporary copy of a regional penny of Edward III, dated to 1327-1377 by his reign. The reverse has a pellet at the centre of the main cross, which is a feature of some pennies of Canterbury and York of class 15d and of Durham from the pre-treaty Series A. The coin is also clipped, such that no inscription is present on either side. Quite worn, especially on the obverse – the portrait is very unclear.Obv.
