Roman coin; struck copper alloy radiate of Tetricus I, probably barbarous. The coin is rather small and thin and the reverse is somewhat botched. The obverse is very fine but the portrait and inscription are not right. This coin probably dates to the period c.AD 275-285.Obv. Radiate head of emperor facing right[…TERTRI]CVS DI[…]Rev. Draped figure advancing left, holding flower in front and with arm raised behind. Possibly a copy of Spes advancing left holding flower and raising skirt behind.No inscription legibleDiameter 15.3mm, thickness 1.3mm, weight 1.36g
