A silver groat of Henry VIII, second coinage, AD 1526-1544. Obverse: Crowned portrait of Henry VIII right. Inscription reads [H]ENRI[C VI]II DI G[RA AGL] FRA […]. Reverse: Long cross fourchee over a royal shield, initials TW on each side of shield for Archbishop Thomas Wolsey. Mint of York. Inscription reads CIVITAS EBORACI.
