A silver denarius of Severus Alexander dating to the period AD 222 to 228 (Reece period 11). ANNONA AVG reverse type depicting Annona standing left with corn ears and cornucopiae. Mint of Rome. RIC IV, p. 81, no. 133.The coin appears to have been deliberately cut between 9 and 12 o'clock on the obverse, with the cut-out respecting the portrait of the emperor.
