Medieval cut silver farthing of Henry III, from the voided long cross coinage of 1247-1272. Based on the position of the V, below the beard, it seems likely that this coin should be attributed to Class III. The apparent absence of a neck in the portrait at least suggests that it does not later than Class III. The moneyer is Roger, and the coin was thus minted in Bristol, Gloucester, Hereford or Newcastle.
