Slightly more than half of a post-medieval lead alloy button with an incomplete integral loop and casting seam on the reverse and, on the front in low relief within a zig-zag border, the upper part of a long-haired bearded and crowned bust facing left (i.e. to dexter), between the letters C and R, both between a pellet above and below. Cf. an example from Weeting-with-Broomhill, Norfolk (SF3527). The portrait is of Charles I. Diameter 32mm. 1625-49.
