Three quarter length portrait of a young woman, seated on a wooden chair (the back is partially visible) facing to her left. She wears a pale patterned dress. Her hair is straight and covers the ears, it is held in a bun at the back, with a curl visible on the cheek. She has a lace collar, also running down the front of the dress. Frilled, gathered decorative textiles on ends of the sleeves. Her left hand rests on a circular table covered with a cloth, her right hand on her lap. Hand coloured.
