A cast copper-alloy seal matrix from the late Medieval to post-Medieval period. The seal has an oval die which has been modified for re-use during the modern period. A new copper-alloy plate has been put on the die that reads 'Iu...' in cursive writing. The engraving on the die is very fine and shallow, making the imprint difficult to read. The die is attached to a conical handle that ends in a terminal. The terminal is collared, leading on to a single suspension loop that has a circular portruding knob.
