Post medieval knife end-stop with remains of iron scale tang in slot. Moulded groove around all four faces next to slot, large moulded transverse aperture, rocker-arm engraving on one broad face, a transverse rib on one narrow face and an incomplete terminal knop. Length >12mm. Width 12mm. Thickness 5.5mm at the slot, 3.5mm at the knop.
