Tiny fragment of medieval gilt copper alloy horse harness pendant, little surviving below the suspension loop. This is engaged with a folded sheet suspension mount and secured by an iron spindle. The gilt front of the mount, a septfoil with roughly central hole, is divided by engraved radial lines. Three of the sub-divisions are filled with rocker-arm engraving. Width 26.5mm. The rear part is tongue-shaped, width 11mm. Height of mount 28mm.
