Medieval gilt copper alloy oval buckle frame, with an offset, narrowed bar and two low rectangular bosses in the centre of the convex outside edge, both decorated with rocker-arm engraving. There is a thickened rectangular area in the centre of the bar (cf. Egan and Pritchard 1991, no. 277). Length and width 19.1 and 23.6mm. Mid 13th - 14th century.
