Medieval copper alloy sexfoil mount of sheet, possibly a belt fitting although it is very large. Missing a single, separate rivet. Each foil is decorated with perimeter lines of very fine rocker-arm engraving. The edge is angled, i.e. the object is a hexagon, with a deep filed notch halfway along each side forming the division between petals. Width 40mm. Central hole diameter. 3.5mm. 14th – 15th century.
