Outer plate of a Medieval composite strap-end of uncertain type, but probably once with a full-width spacer. Both edges missing, one rivet near the broader end, probably the attachment edge, the other missing and surviving only as a hole truncated by one of the breaks. Curving band of rocker-arm engraving towards broader end. Length >38mm. Width 8 - 7mm. 14th century.
