Post Medieval asymmetrical buckle frame, one loop trapezoidal, the other D-shaped, bent or angled around bar. Small lobe at both ends of narrowed bar, three pairs of grooves on straight outside edge, large knop in centre of rounded inside edge with cross-hatched engraving, in the form of a “squared off” acorn. 29 x 15mm. c.1575-1700.
