Petrol powered mower The mower is cylindrical and is fitted with a two-stroke engine. The mower is raised and lowered using a lever construction A pedal of raising and lowering Start is by means of a string. The mower is fitted with four rubber wheels where the diameter of the front wheels is 144 mm and rear wheel diameter 197 mm The engine is an American Clinton with lying cylinder and a head- yellow silencer on the right side. The carburettor is located at the rear and the gas the bag is on the front side. The mower is painted red and has a white handle. The engine cover is fitted with a sticker at the front in white. See “Signing, marking” 1 above. The front edge of the cabbage with blue text. See “Signing, marking” 2 above. The front upper side of the cap has a yellow sticker with black letters (warning text) in poor condition. The trailing edge of the cowl has a yellow sticker with blue text. See “Signing, marking” 3 above. The air filter marked with punched text: "KEEP AIR FILTER CLEAN FILTER COVER TO CLEAN FILTER REOIL WITH SAE 30-050 INGAS- OIL Stopping lever at the carburettor at the rear. The engine is marked with a plate with text: "MFD BY THE CLINTON MACHINE CO. MAQUOKETA IOWA U.S.A.’, and serial numbers etc. The mower is used in the Alvestatra until around 1970, then a member of the staff. Inscribed in the Main Catalogue 2007-02-26. Function: Cutting of grassy surfaces.
