Collection of ten stereo daguerreotypes in original box by Carpenter and Westley, 24 Regent Steet, London, whose mark is stamped on the sliding lid of a polished wooden box. Attributed to T R Williams. This particular statue (or a version of it) was exhibited in the Great Exhibition.

Bronze plate set in tortoise shell case designed to look like a book. Carved scene of riders in a forest on the front. Hand coloured daguerreotype of a seated group portrait of a man and two women. Woman on the left wears a long sleeved button down dress with frill cuffs, lace collar, brooch at the neck with attached chain fastening at the waist. Her right hand rests in her lap, he left hand behind her back. Her hair is worn in a middle parting. The central man is wearing trousers, jacket, waistcoat, shirt, bow tie and pocket watch chain. Receding hair line worn in a side parting and sideburns. His right hand is behind the woman on the left. His left hand rests on his left knee and wears a ring on the little finger. The woman on the right wears a plaid skirt and long sleeved bodice, with frill cuff and lace collar, neck brooch, chain and earrings. Hair is worn in a centre parting. Her right hand in on the man's shoulder and her left hand, wearing two rings, rests in her lap. Plain background.

They wear a similar tunics (a fine check) with sleeves gathered at the cuffs, white collars with a dark bow tie at the collar, dark belts with metal buckles, dark trousers and shoes, and dark caps with lacquered visors. There may be a support behind the boy on the left. Each has a slender cane upright in front of him. In the foreground a dog is sitting, black and shaggy with a white bib. Behind is a white textile, like a sheet. The floor is patterned.
