TREASURE CASE : 2013 T723.SAilver object, possibly a hooked clasp or book clasp/ mount. The object has been cut from sheet silver and one end of the object has two main lobes with a circular perforation in each lobe. Where the two lobes pinch together there is a central circular perforation just above this. The sides taper and the stem of the object has been bent back and is now flat against the main body of the object. The end is broken and jagged. The decoration on the front of the object consists of a single incised groove creating a border and a chevron style design with etching on the lower portion of the objects surface. The reverse is plain.
