Ornament, upptill formad som en obelisk, krönt av ett stort klot. Obelisken vilar på en profilerad och snedställd platta som avgränsar den från en hög sockel. Obelisken är skuren i ett stycke samt är rikt dekorerad med stora, långsträckta och mångflikiga blad, liknande eklöv. Bladflikarna på obeliskens kortsidor är delvis avskurna. Obelisken är dekorerad runt om vilket antyder att den varit placerad fristående. Sockelns övre del består av ett tjockt textilstycke, format likt en scarf, som trätts genom en stor ring. Nedtill är sockeln prydd med en enkelt skuren maskaron med näbbliknande mun, omgiven av en krans med smala inskärningar. Maskaronen begränsas nedtill av en profilerad vulst. Sidorna är prydda med rullverksspiral. Sockeln har en avplanad baksida. På baksidan finns ett snedställt urtag som är försett med skåror och upphöjda åsar. Skulpturen är mycket välbevarad. Text in English: Ornament in the shape of an obelisk, topped with a large sphere and placed upon a pedestal. A plinth seperates the obelisk from the pedestal. The pedestal is flattened at the back. The crowning sphere is made in two halves, one of which has fallen off. The obelisk is carved in one piece, three-dimensionally, and has leaf decoration on all four sides. On the short sides of the obelisk''s thickened base there is a simple engraved rectangle. The obelisk is richly decorated with large, multi-lobed leaves similar to oak leaves. A mask, with a face with a beak-like mouth, decorates the pedestal. The mask is surrounded by a wreath with narrow incisions which terminate below in a torus. Scrollwork decorates the sides. Above the mask a festoon of carved ribbon passes through a large ring. The sculpture is very well preserved.
