Skulptur utformad som en rektangulär maskaron. Maskaronen återger ett till synes skrattande ansikte med bred mun och väldiga, tvärhuggna tänder. Maskaronen är snedskuren upptill och nedtill. Undersidan är fasad. Baksidan är skrovlig och oputsad med tydliga spår av stämjärn eller liknande verktyg. Övre delen av baksidan är försedd med ett grundare, horisontellt urtag i övre kanten och ett vertikalt djupare utmed övre delens vänstra kant. Strax något till höger om övre partiets mittpunkt finns en bred, lodrät skåra som eventuellt kan tolkas som en 1:a. Näsan, som snidats separat, saknas. Text in English: A sculpture of a mask, depicting an apparently laughing face with broad mouth and large, pointed teeth. The mask is rectangular in shape and cut at an angle at top and bottom. The reverse side is rough and unpolished with the clear marks of a chisel or similar tool. The upper part of the reverse side has a shallow horizontal groove at its upper edge, and a deeper vertical one along the left-hand edge of the upper portion. Slightly to the right of centre of the upper part is a broad, vertical score which can be interpreted as the figure 1. The nose, which was carved separately, is missing.
