Carved advertising pole
Zbyszko Piwoński
An advertising pole carved from the trunk of a dead chestnut tree. The sculpture, entitled "Zaraz Zagramy" (We'll play soon), was made in 2010 by the folk artist Zbyszek Piwoński from Żnin. It is an original form of advertising for concerts by students of the Music School in Bydgoszcz or the Philharmonic. The advertising sculpture is placed at the intersection of Gdańska and Słowackiego Streets in Bydgoszcz. Zbyszko Piwoński is a continuator of traditional folk art in the field of sculpture. He participates in international competitions of folk sculpture.
