Two fragments of painted wall plaster of uncertain date. They have a soft, slightly porous white fabric with some sandy and gritty inclusions, terminating in old breaks in all directions. The surfaces have been smoothed and prepared for painting, with traces of a dark paint visible on one fragment, now appearing gray in colour. However, the original painted surfaces are extremely worn making close identification of either colour or date range impossible. The two fragments have a combined weight of 518g. They are of uncertain date and although may feasibly be as early as the Roman period a later date cannot be ruled out.
