The housing is very similar to PDC_04_03 even down to the sheet of green paper behind the plate. DB47 has a similar housing but has not been taken out of its case to look for green paper. FAU032 has a similar case and an embossed paper. It seems likely that all these cases are all from the same manufacturer who inserted a sheet of coloured paper into the space for the daguerrepotype to provide an attractive contrast to the surrounding coloured velvet. The housing is also similar to 2007-65/20 (as far as can be seen), 1956-805/1, MFM S-6397, and bears some similarities with MLK_FH_ 02082.

Her third finger wears a mourning ring. She wears a dark silk dress with a brooch at the front, low on the shoulders with a fine lace edging. Her hair is very dark and coils to cover her ears. A long chain around her neck to her waist. The table is covered with a cloth. She stands in front of a painted backdrop, a view with lake, trees and hills. Hand coloured.
