A postmedieval to modern cast copper alloy miniature cannon, used as a child's toy. The barrel is cylindrical in plan; the sides taper towards the muzzle. The barrel is hollow and circular in section. The two projecting lugs (trunions) on the barrel would have attached to a block or stock. The item probably dates from the 18th to 19th centurues.
